And I'm back!

After a long hiatus due to a demanding summer job schedule, I am finally dusting off the old blog.  I hope I will continue to post on it on a regular basis, as I was doing for the first half of this year.  Anyway, I'll lead off with another article on a topic that has interested me a great deal recently:  the balance between a healthy cleanliness and the destruction of the microbe communities that have evolved to keep us and our environments healthy.  Here is an NYT debate on whether or not people in the US are overly obsessed with cleanliness.
