A while ago I linked to a video called "
Hope for a changing climate", profiling human interventions that can regenerate landscapes. Today I found this
article by the creator of that video, John D. Liu, going into more depth about his experiences in China and his work in Africa. I especially like his out-of-the-box view that China, in addition to its longstanding status as the poster child of environmental destruction, can become a model for the whole world as to how to mitigate negative human impacts on the environment, and even to regenerate the natural ecosystem.
