A take on the England riots

I don't know much about the recent rioting in London and elsewhere in the UK, and I certainly don't pretend to understand it. Here though is the take of a writer from the Nation, who feels the rioting in England (and elsewhere in Europe) is linked to the increasing inequality and political rape of the people by elites.
