White riot

This piece is a few years old, but it really lays out the stark contrast between the indulgent treatment white hooligans get from police and the media, versus the repression and demonization received by black people protesting peacefully over a real injustice.  Concretely, it offers the case of a riot enacted by a bunch of white college students at a drunken pumpkin festival in New Hampshire, and compares it to the treatment of the black protestors in Ferguson, Missouri.
