Nuance on neoliberalism

This is an article with a healthy dose of bemused constraint.  It describes the thinking of some within the International Monetary Fund who are finally admitting some of the shortcomings of the Neoliberal Washington Consensus, namely the inequality and rentist/speculative/corrupt practices (which the authors don't really get into, but I read between the lines) that can stagnate an economy after it's been substantially deregulated and privatized, and social protections removed.
