Raj Patel on the Green Revolution

This is a cool video from Raj Patel detailing the motivations, history, and outcomes of the Green Revolution.  I give the Green Revolution a bit more credit than he does in terms of feeding the world today (though not necessarily reducing hunger now or in the past), insofar as if synthetic fertilizers suddenly ceased to be used in the current models of agriculture in the world, we'd all be dead.  Nevertheless, it is a good primer for anyone looking to learn more about this important phenomenon in food and farming in the 20th century.
