Baduizm turns 20

This is an article about the 20th anniversary of the release of Erykah Badu's album, Baduizm.  I listened to this album a lot growing up.  I swooned over Badu's beautiful photo on the album cover, and her smooth voice.  I never realized how much of a phenomenon or seminal album this was, as the author of the article describes.  For me it was just a voice to accompany me on late nights alone working on papers for a high school class, an oasis of good, cerebral R&B music amid the mid-90s panorama of pop love songs and soulless bling rap.
