Finnish childcare help from the State

I have written before about the Finnish equality-based approach to public school excellence.  Well it seems those progressive Finns are at it again!  Here is an article about a standard kit that every Finnish mother is eligible to receive, which includes diapers, clothes, books, and a sleeping setup (the box serves as a crib!).  Excuse the typo in the title, and the Canadian terms like nappies for diapers, and "dummy" for what I assume is a pacifier.

Anyway, if I were designing the perfect egalitarian society with a high standard of living, this baby box would be part of my proposal.
