Colombian product innovations
Here is an article from today's República newspaper. It describes eight innovative products invented by Colombian businesses. I'm not crazy about the potato chips and margarine that are supposedly healthy thanks to the addition of Omega 3 fatty acids. But I like the low-flow urinals, the labor-saving hand tools invented by a farmer, the plant-based anti-lice treatment, and especially the production of fabrics using recycled plastic bottles. These are all the type of tangible products with real benefits that I like to see economies basing themselves on.
