Economic growth in Latin America
Here's an NYT article on recent economic growth in Latin America. It touches on a few things I've discussed in the past on this blog--Chinese demand for raw materials, Chile's wise management of mining profits, investment of tax dollars into local infrastructure. Something I didn't know is that Chile set aside mining revenues during the past years of high international copper prices, which allowed the country to finance an economic stimulus plan last year.
